Details:	To mark 7 years of finding “forever” homes for retired racing greyhounds in the Rochester area, a birthday party will be hosted by Greyhound Adoption of Greater Rochester on Sunday, November 8th, 2009, from 1:00 – 3:00pm. The event is free, open to the public and is being held at Hydroacoustics, 999 Lehigh Station Rd. in Henrietta, about 5 minutes from Marketplace Mall. (The building is used by Dog Obedience Training Club of Rochester). At this annual event, those interested in meeting and learning about retired racing greyhounds as pets can interact with greyhounds of all ages, colors and personalities who have been adopted. Birthday cake and biscuits will be served, and vendors will offer greyhound-themed merchandise for sale. There will be drawings for “greyt” prizes as well. The organization asks visitors to refrain from bringing other dog breeds to the gathering, especially small dogs or other pets.
