Details:	As the temperature outside starts to dip, what better way to keep warm than with a cat! The hundreds of kitties waiting for homes at Lollypop Farm are guaranteed to come with furry insulation to help fend off the winter drafts when they curl up on your lap, and their built-in purr motor lifts the spirits through the dreary months. Research shows that feline-friendly families have reduced stress and depression—something everyone can benefit from in the winter season. To help the Rochester community combat the winter blues, Lollypop Farm is drastically reducing adoption fees from Friday, November 6, through Sunday, November 8. During the “Warm Your Hearts and Homes with a Kitty” Adopt-a-thon weekend, cats over one year of age can be adopted for FREE, and those younger than a year can be adopted for just $60. “We are willing to do what it takes for everyone to benefit from our furry feline friends, even if that means eliminating the adoption fee,” says Alice Calabrese, President and CEO of Lollypop Farm. “Every cat adopted to a new, loving home is another warm home for the winter, and a warm and healthy heart for the family beyond.” Along with the above benefits, each cat or kitten adoption includes spaying or neutering, feline leukemia testing, vaccinations and parasite treatment, microchipping, flea control treatment, a certificate for a free health exam, and a 30-day gift of pet health insurance.
