We got Addie the day she turned 5 wks old, she was so tiny, Not even 4 lbs. it didn't take long to fall in love with her, she was so sweet and loving, before we realized it, our tiny lil dog had become a 40 lb dog, and its not stopped, as of right now(6-30-10) she is at 80 lbs, yet she is still the most gentle and loving dog ever. Some people talk about how "DUMB" dogs are and it's an insult, our GSD is smarter than most people we know ha ha, she is amazing with kids, and she loves her older but much smaller sister(our beagle) however they do have their moments where they are at each others throats. She isn't too fond of people walking up to the car when we are riding or even looking as if they are going to walk to the car. She loves uniforms(Police Officers) because she's so use to seeing Jason in one, she can see someone in a uniform and she is fine with them, but the next day see the same person in normal clothes, and it may not go over to well. I guess she's our lil Badge Bunny ha ha. We never knew that a dog could bring so much happiness, and so much joy. We use to laugh at the thought of people pampering their dogs, to us then, dogs were dogs, but wow was it changed, We don't have dogs, we have furry children that mean the world to us.. You never have to worry about a dog holding a grudge, she/he is always happy to see you, no matter how mad you were when you left. |
